Casa Juan is a family-owned and operated bodega in La Guardia, Rioja run by Angel Escudero and his family. While the family has been growing vines for years, it wasn’t until 1995 that Angel and his wife Anaceli decided to create a brand and sell it.

This classic Crianza has good structure and balance with firm tannins and a medium body. The Tempranillo vines average 45 years of age. The wine is aged 14 months in a combo of French and American oak. The nuanced palate provides cherry, plum, spice, distinctive earthiness, smoke, oak, leather, vanilla, and light tobacco notes. Try it with Lamb, Polenta, Baby back rib, Mushrooms, or Chili.
