Tiefenbrunner Merus is 100% Pinot Bianco grown in a soil composition of calcareous, silt, sand, gravel, and clay loam. It was fermented in stainless steel and aged 4 months on the lees to add richness to the final wine. It is dry, medium-bodied, well-balanced, and smooth. On the polished palate, fresh acidity accompanies peach, Bartlett pear, apple, lemon, stone, minerals, and green melon. This wine is wonderful paired with light salads, light appetizers, fish dishes, and asparagus.
